Internal Air Cooling
Material Stress on blow moulded parts ultimately effects product quality and profit. Moulders are often forced to extend the cooling time during the moulding process or add a secondary (post) cooling station to improve the product quality.
FarragTech's internal air cooling systems with integrated refrigeration circuits guarantee higher production rates and better product quality.
BAC (Blow Air Chiller) is the heart of an internal air cooling system for extrusion blow moulding. It guarantees processed air temperature as low as -35 ºC to cool the internal surfaces of product during the moulding process thus cutting the cooling time short and reducing the moulding stresses.
BAC systems have proven average production increases of 35% at a superior quality.
BMB (Blow Moulding Booster) is a simpler alternative for BAC. Compressed air at a temperature of 3 ºC combined with the right blow pin design and specially designed blow valve blocks achieve good results at lower cost.
FBC (Farrag Blow Control) is the brain of the internal air cooling system insuring proper blow air control and excellent air distribution inside the product during the entire moulding process.
BVB (Blow Valve Block) is a special, fast acting valve group design to control the chilled air flow for blowing and venting.
